Sunflowers

Not sure when I made these but they were in my kitchen for the last couple of years. Of course they are cotton!

Baby "A" 's Girly Bib

I made the bib at work in one day! We were slow and I was sitting next to Jena, my pregnant  coworker, all day.  Working on the bib till Angie came in to clean the office and was like "What's up?" So I showed her and finally said to Jena "What do you think?" She was a little surprised that it was for her, I think she likes it, I hope so...

She took a picture and sent it to her mom, Grandma liked it. None the less I do think it turned out cute. A good size all in all but I guess we will find out how I did when the baby arrives.

Here's what I did so I will know later on:

25 single stitch across. 24 rows. Not sure how many rows for the neck. The button was a magic circle. The ruffles were 3 doubles into 1 space. Of course it's cotton yarn. Easy to care for and wash.

Washing towels

Ok I have no idea when these were done, all are made from cotton. Left overs! Waste noithing. I have been using them to dry my hands in the bathroom recently. They are not really good for drying, don't soak up very well.

Garlands

Stars garland!

I'm thinking in the doorway from living room to dining room.  But I haven't done it yet cuz Dean (the hubby) says he wants to paint first. I will take a picture when I do.

They are made of cotton yarn, left overs mostly.

Actually I made some flowers first, strung them up and was going to use it in my bedroom but my cutie adopted grand,  little Ms. Virginia saw the flowers and that's all she wrote!. She took it home.

Thats her in her bedroom showing me her flowers! Mommy hung them on her bed for her.

Pointsettias & other flowers

Not sure what I'm going to do with them yet??

Puff ball??

I'm not sure when this was done.

It is made from cotton yarn BUT I'm not sure I would use this on me just because of the colors. Afraid the colors would bleed out and on me.

I read that if you drop some oils on it it could make your room smell really nice.

I would have to go back to you tube to even see how to make this thing again.

Small girly Cactus

I finished this little girl today! I think she's cute, makes me wish I had a desk for her to be on.

The yarn I bought at AC Moore in the dollar bin. It's NOT cotton and it's all bumpy. Very soft.  I did double stitch all around and then it's connected, sinched at the top. Bottom was left open to stuff. The arms were separate pieces that I attached. Her little flower is pink cotton that I had left over. A magic circle with 4 double chains, so it would be small. Her dirt is just a circle made to fit the pot. Ah, the pot is more yarn from AC Moore dollar bin. Thicker yarn and NOT cotton (haha), double stiched and single stiched to get the right size.

Have you figured out I don't use patterns yet!!! Free hand most everything.

Opening speech!

Hi all!

All things crocheted!!

I'll be honest here I'm not sure what I'm doing but I wanted to put all of my crocheting in one place so if no one else wants to enjoy them I will be able to. So I am going to first walk around my house and take pictures of all the things I've created crocheting and take pictures and post them here. Then as I create more things this is where I will post pictures and comments. Not really sure if anyone else will read this so for now its for me.

Some of the things I've done were a while ago and some were recent if I can remember when I made it I will note that. So here goes everything!!
